Family Weekend Scheduled for September 23-24

May 9, 2022 – LAWRENCE, KAN: KU Student Affairs is excited to announce Family Weekend will take place September 23-24, 2022. Events will lead up to the KU football game against Duke University at the David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

To support a robust weekend of events, the Family Weekend Committee encourages departments and offices to welcome families to your buildings and spaces for an informal open house on Friday, September 23rd, from 2-4:30 p.m. This coordinated effort is intended to fulfill family interest in seeing where their student is taking classes and meet some of the faculty and staff. 

We encourage Student Affairs and programming units to host an open house if it makes sense for your space and services. If that does not fit your needs or purposes, we are seeking units to table during the kickoff event at the Kansas Union. This programming request applies to all units.
